TRUST Ambulance car
Work-out of an original exterior and assembling of interior for an ambulance car, based on a medium-tonnage Isuzu NPR truck chassis.
The vehicle, which purpose is not only transportation, but also first aid with a possibility of intensive care, monitoring and even reanimation, was projected in accordance with all technical requirements of State Standards and Ministry of Health. The body is made in module scheme, with the frame construction of steel and aluminum shapes. Outer panels of the driver’s cabin are made of steel, the other elements of the body – sandwich-panels, strengthened with aluminum sheets.
Due to the thoroughly thought-out assembling we managed to find a solution for the main problem that arises while building of such type of cars – the lack of room. Along with the necessary medical equipment and stretcher with receiving facility, a biotoilet, two wash-stands, a wardrobe, a frige and an additional warmer were packed into the saloon of the car named Trust. Passenger capacity is 9 people (7 seats with safety belts, plus stretcher and additional bench). The spare wheel, located vertically in the rear overhang along the right side of the body is an example of matching the special requirements. When being changed, it leans back, to outside, with levers. It’s fast and what’s more important – the spare wheel is come-at-able and doesn’t interact with the objects of interior. Inside the saloon on the housing of the spare the table and folding seat are organized.
A rather unusual exterior also has some peculiarities, for instance, special light signaling that doesn’t go beyond the limits of the body. Besides, a special medical coloration matching the requirements of State Standard was designed for the Trust.
