The heart of the project is re-equipment of a private 8-seat Hawker 850 jet interior with full stylistic change and some equipment revision. The client wanted to find inside: a transforming sofa, an optimized construction of the transforming tables and an ability to regulate the intensity of light. Also the far not new plane interior must have been renewed visually with the use of progressive design elements.
First of all we trid to understand the expectations and needs of the client concerning the project, that gave us an opportunity to make a right choice of a new style. The previous appearance of the saloon, made in brown colors, was changed to modern light-gray and black. A tone of the new interior performs a combination of luxury and restrained austerity. It’s emphasized by the materials imported from motor races sphere – carbon and alcantara. The seats were fully made over and their form was altered – they became more comfortable and spectacular. A transforming sofa was mounted instead of couple of back row seats.
The design and construction of tables also changed to smoother lines of table-boards made of buffed aluminum and carbon, ergonomic kinematics of transformation plus a pair of comfy glass-holders. Regarding the light, you can change not only brightness, but its color as well.
An accommodation space was colored with grey car enamel; all gilded accessories were substituted by chrome. Partition between a main salon and kitchen was made of carbon, as well as wash-bowl and WC pan. Grey and black lavatory room doesn’t break out of the main style.
Also an external coloration of the plane was changed in accordance with our project.
